Pro Sound and Lights

Pro Sound and lights has a long standing relationship with First Baptist Church in Danville, KY, making their choice of sound, light and video contractors a simple one. Having worked with the church and its staff for many years assisting with service issues in their original downtown building, the Pro Sound team was very familiar with the needs and desires of the church.

The church broadcasts its service on local cable, so a quality video recording system was necessary. A system consisting of Sony BRC robotic cameras and DataVideo video processing was installed. The church decided to use the BRC cameras because the system could easily be operated by a single person by using the optional remote control for the cameras.

The video projection system consists of a custom Da-Lite screen, a Sanyo 4000 lumen LCD projector for the main screen, and an additional 4000 lumen projector for the rear wall to allow people on stage to see what is on the screen. Because of the large vertical opening for the baptismal, the screen was ordered with extra material on the top and bottom of the screen to make the screen more aesthetically appealing.
