First Baptist Church, Bracktown
Lexington, KY When First Baptist Church Bracktown contaced Pro Sound and Lights early on in the design stage of their new facility, several meetings were held to ensure that the appropriate equipment would be installed in the new church building. Working cloesly with the architect and members of the church's building comittee, Pro Sound and Lights was able to completely tailor the design and installation of the sound, light and video systems to the new facility.
As is the case in many churches, aesthetics were very important to the people of First Baptist Church, limiting possible locations of the main speaker. To accomodate the size, and shape of the main sanctuary, as well as the church's desire to keep the system as unobtrusive as possible, a stereo pair of EAW DSA series speakers were chosen for their small form factor, and ability to digitally steer the sound to fit the room perfeclty.
To accomodate every seat in the sanctuary, the church decided to install a dual screen video projection system. In addition to the two main projection screens, the church also requested a smaller projector shining on the rear wall of the sanctuary to allow the choir and other people on the stage to see what is being projected on the main screens.

As well as installing the main sound, light, and video systems in the sanctuary, Pro Sound and Lights installed sound and video systems in the church's gymnasium to allow for overflow seating and other events not suited to the main worship space. These events include movie nights, basketball games and other church gatherings.
